Review on 💪 InSinkErator Badger 5XP Garbage Disposal with Cord, Continuous Feed, 3/4 HP by Jake Pavelko

This was my fourth slide installation in 9 years. We started with 1/2 hp models and each lasted less than 2 years. Last time I decided to install the 5XP model which took about 5 years. I was expecting the installation to take 15 minutes but it turned out that the flange on previous models was not compatible with this one. Installation was more difficult than I expected but not difficult with instructions. Took less than 1 hour. The warranty on the 5XP has increased from 3 to 4 years over the last 5 years. From my experience you get what you pay for in terms of garbage collection. I have never used any brand other than InSinkErator and have always been satisfied. Installation is easy when replacing an existing disposal. Make sure you have plumbing putty on hand as well. Would I buy again would recommend this product to family/friends. Giving 4 stars due to the flange issue and it is less valuable as the price has gone up a lot.
