I love my duvet after almost a year of use. It can feel a bit heavy at times, but nothing compared to the layers and layers I've had on my bed. In my old draft house I feel warm and comfortable. Never smelled from the start. I only washed it once when my sick cat peed on it. I beat him very well in the washing machine 3-4 times. I think it might still have a small pee stain on it but I have it in my duvet cover. The smell of cat urine is gone and the duvet is holding up great. From time to time a small tuft of fluff flies out. So if you have terrible allergies, think twice. I have seasonal allergies that almost feel like year-round allergies, and I don't mind a blanket. The reason I'm writing this review is because I bought another duvet from my mother as it also had a lot of positive reviews and was on sale at the time. Well, now I regret it. I would buy this duvet again at full price anytime. I paid $140 for it last December.
