I thought it was bigger but now I'm glad it's the size. It doesn't take up too much space and the water tank lasts for 24 hours. I love colored lights. Looks beautiful in the kitchen. The only thing that was difficult was how to turn it on. We read the instructions several times and eventually started pressing the two buttons harder. You must hold your fingers on both buttons for at least 3 seconds. Otherwise it is easy to use. Since it's very dry here in Colorado, I know we need to add some moisture to the air. It's perfect for a small room.
