Review on Kalencom Potette Plus 2-in-1 Travel Potty Trainer Seat Green: Portable & Versatile Potty for Traveling Kids by Kelsey Davis

I've been looking for a travel potty for months. Some are available here in Canada but not as compact as this one. I was concerned reading some of the reviews that it was difficult to close. When my 2.5 year old first used it, I couldn't move my feet. I moved them a little away from the ring and then they closed normally. I was also concerned that I would have to use plastic bags every time she had to use it outside (although they are biodegradable, once they end up in a regular trash can they will also take ages to decompose as they are in everything not to be buried - biodegradable garbage, without light and air; human waste is not allowed in the city's compost system. Not without reason, of course!). Finding the reusable Kalencom Potette Plus At Home in green was like glittering gold. Recently I had to take my daughter to a government office. I pulled it out in the toilet and she was happy to use it. I was able to pour the contents down the toilet and flush it with ease. What I will do next: Bring a small mug or plastic cup to pour the tap water into a saucepan. The use of drinking cups for this purpose was uninteresting as the sink there was quite small. I would give it 5 stars except that its clasp can be nerve wracking. PRO: Shipping to Canada and the shipping cost is not too high. . Unlike some other products on amazon.com where shipping to Canada can cost as much as the product itself. Compactness. The reusable liner + potty fits into the included pouch. Reusable liner (eco-friendly) MINUS: Difficult to close. But I think it gets better with practice.
