Serious design flaw. The step needs something to stabilize it. The step wobbles when a child steps on it as it is only secured with one screw on each side. I'm surprised the baby wasn't hurt. This item must have a security clearance. My grandson stepped on him and I caught him just before his legs and feet fell between the stairs and the toilet.

It was very difficult for me to get my son to poop on the potty. He's 100th percentile for his age, so he was too big for regular pots and the seat covers were too small. A week later he was fully potty trained! I'm so glad we got this. We have an extended toilet seat but it still works with it while others don't. I love this seat!

We used to have a small seat that could be put on the toilet and my baby (who MUST do everything OWN) could not stand on it by himself, which leads to more accidents and a very long potty training schedule. As soon as we bought this product, he immediately stepped up and here we go! It is very durable and he can put it on himself when he is near the toilet. I highly recommend!

My little boy loves this toilet seat. This is the first he's actually sat on (other than those mini toilets). I bought this because I didn't want to potty train him as I didn't want the extra mess to be cleaned up. My 3 year old can put it on the toilet and climb in and clean it himself. It's nice and light, but pretty durable at the same time. We have tile on the floor and it has never slipped. Worth every penny.

I'm surprised it has so many good reviews. My daughter really enjoyed using the "big potty" so I bought one but it really didn't last very long. My daughter is good at gross motor skills, all types of steps, stairs, climbing etc. but she really didn't like it. Seeing her use it made me feel uncomfortable too. It just didn't seem safe enough for a small child. She ended up just using an ordinary step stool.
