I'm a big girl. 6 feet 265 pounds. But the skirt hardly fits. I usually find wearing 3X very comfortable as I carry my weight. I could put it on, but with difficulty. The skirt is beautiful. It is exactly like in the photo. I get a million and a complement. But when you are big. This skirt does not lie on the floor and spoils the overall picture. It also creates a top muffin unless you wear it slightly above your real waist. If you look at photos of tall women wearing this skirt, you will see that it sits just below the bust. That means you'll have to style that skirt a little differently than you imagined. I tucked in a white tank top with thin spaghetti straps, but over that I pulled on a denim vest that was rag-length (I guess that's what they call it). Do fun things with your jewelry and your hair and you're done. But don't expect to add another layer if you're a tall woman. Manufacturers please provide exact dimensions and offer different lengths. I personally would be willing to pay more for the fabric needed for a better fit.
