Newer models. Exactly what I needed.

The photo is misleading. Luckily I didn't need the one in the photo and the product I received was accurate what I needed.This is for newer models that are a few years old.

Will this fit the old (clip style) 12x12x18 mini/large? Read more

This is not a direct replacement for the old type of clip but if you just cut out the four old protruding plastic clip studs it slips down tight I would still use black tape around the rims to hold it in place.

The product I received is not the one pictured.

Sorry "Grace M", I copied your review. Problem. I have the one that fits the newer PT2602 version which has "round tabs" at the top for the locks. The item shown and the one I want is the old version which has clips that sit on top of the tank. I can't use it. i give it back I contacted Amazon about the picture! I also emailed Exo Terra to find out where I can get the "OLD" style. I will update when I get an answer.
