Not easy to remove.

Not easy to take off but once on they last. You really have to struggle to get the clip off and that makes things worse. I don't take any more of that.

Pros
  • I'll keep my fingers crossed
Cons
  • Very expensive

The best clips I've ever used.

I am very glad I bought these clamps. They snap easily and are very secure. They can be a bit tricky to get at first, but as you do it a few times it will get easier. I feel my ball pythons are safe in their aquariums with these clamps. Absolute purchase recommendation - I will soon buy another set.

  • Excellent overall performance

Okay, but difficult to solve.

They work great and are very safe. The only problem I had was taking them off when I needed them. So here are a few helpful tips. Bend them (as directed) at an angle loose enough that you can take them off, rather than doing what I did, which was bending them as little as possible and then having to struggle for 20 minutes to get it to take them off. lolz.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Without automatic controls

No More Lost Snakes

Love these clips once you know how to use them. No more escaped snakes and fear of being hurt or never found again. I highly recommend them. Take the time to learn how to put them on properly. The flat surface comes from above. With the folded side, grasp the rim of the tank with the bottom edge of the clip. Then slide the top over the edge until you hear it snug against the screen. When removing, open the top first and then the side.

Happy! Very safe, can be difficult to remove.

I am very happy about this and I am grateful for this product! Very satisfied! We have three mice that live in an aquarium and it keeps cats away no matter what the cats try! The only downside is that they are really difficult to remove, but there is a trick, there are some videos on YouTube and you should also remember not to put them on backwards or you will have a really difficult time! It's a win-win situation!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Much better than loop!

These shield clips have a very low profile compared to standard hinged shield clips. As you can see in the picture I included. Sorry for the saran and duct tape, I had to find an easy way to keep the Christie tank wet. The only thing is that they are very tight! Hard to get in, even harder to get out. But that means if you keep Escape Masters in your terrarium, they won't run away with these baddies! I have them on a standard 10 gallon tank. I definitely recommend them.

Bracket for 10 gallon or less tank

Great Product! Easy to put on and take off and very secure. The design is very comfortable unlike other clips I've tried. I use two of these clamps on my pig's 10 gallon tank. I found I only needed 2 tank clamps because there were enough to keep the gas cap tightly closed. I recently tried the rest of the clamps on my 20 gallon tank. They didn't fit. It was very difficult to fully put them on. Unlike my ten gallon tank, I had to apply a lot of pressure to ensure both the lid and lip of the tank

lightweight and easy good for terrarium covers

they work best if you first slide/fasten the clip on top of the screen and then gently pull to the bottom of the tank rim; reverse to remove / open. They're more than enough to secure the top part of the screen, but it's quite noisy/uncomfortable and may startle a sensitive animal when opening/closing. - With bad reviews for another popular product, this presents a great opportunity for someone to invent a silent and secure locking/latching screen cover; ideally something that is adjustable in…

Good quality but not universal for <29 gallons.

The clips themselves are in excellent condition and a good price. There are no complaints. Note, however, that they are very tight and difficult to remove. I wouldn't recommend them for a tank that you will be opening and closing frequently. The problem is they won't fit in any of my 20 gallon tanks. Aquariums are ten years or older, but they are standard aquariums. However, the clips fit my 10 gallon aqueon, which is new. They're probably mostly universal for newer tanks, but if your tank is a
