Worn on a 4 hour motorbike ride on a sunny 38 degree day. The SPF function is great as my hands were very dark, almost burnt, but they did very little to protect my hands. The benefit of stopping occasionally and spraying them with a spray bottle kept me cool and comfortable while being protected from the sun. Also put on a cooling neck brace and together they made motorcycling in hot weather pleasant and comfortable again when wearing them. They are a bit difficult to put on, they fit well, don't move all day and the pattern looks beautiful. Would definitely buy them again as their benefits are worth the money spent. Update 6/20/21: I have worn them for another long motorbike ride and they have worked very well to protect hands from the sun and although very dark hands are slightly tanned. ; The main reason for the downgrade from 5 to 4 stars is that the seams above one sleeve are starting to unravel, which doesn't bode well for models that last longer than a summer; I will continue to post throughout the season.
