Review on 🐘 Elephant Foam Isolator in Gray by Kartik Starks

A very affordable version of the Kaotica eyeball. These and similar devices cost a lot of money! The seemingly high price of this foam ball pales in comparison! I cut a 4 inch hole in it about 2/3 deep. I then cut a hole slightly smaller than my dynamic mic at the bottom center of the 4" hole. I cut a hole for the microphone. I plugged the mic all the way in. I found this worked very well! Not an extensive and intense room treatment that would cost anywhere near as much as the Kaotica Eyeball. All in all, it worked much better than I had hoped. My recordings are very quiet and without room reflections! I use and have used a language technique that initially limited but did not eliminate reflection in space. So tuning technique combined with this ball turned out to be better than expected!
