Review on LC 30-1294 Black 2.5 Gallon Funnels: Durable and Efficient Solution for Efficient Liquid Transfers by Eric Schwalbe

I had high hopes for this gas cartridge. So I bought it because it fit perfectly on the back of my snowmobile. But due to a poorly designed spout, it leaks badly. It had a clear rubber hose that just slips onto some plastic fittings, it seems to fit snugly at first but once the gas sloshes around it starts to leak. It must have some sort of very low profile hose clamp because it has to go through the cap. Also, when the spout is in the tank position, it doesn't have a dust cap on the bottom of the spout, allowing dirt and debris to get in there. That dirt is the last thing you want to put in your gas tank. I have yet to go to an auto parts store and see if I can purchase flat hose clamps to fix the leak. And then I have to come up with some kind of dust cover. If you're only going to use this gas canister on your lawnmower then it's probably fine, but if you plan on mounting this canister to the back of a moving car I don't recommend it.
