Description of 🚰 Efficient Filling Funnel for EPAuto Radiator Coolant System

Allows color matching of caps for dedicated adapters. Cooling System fill kit prevents spills and trapped air. Trapped air pockets may cause erratic cooling system and heater performance. 5” Extension Bar and 45° Elbow allow access to caps under shrouds or at an angle. USPTO Patent No: US10519019B2.

You can then very easily burst the system to purify the air and the .

Should have bought sooner. Worked on my 2013 Acura TSX and 1999 Honda Accord and with all the adapters I'm sure it will work on many other cars. Completely simplifies the radiator flushing procedure as I can just fill the funnel and let gravity do its job. You can then very easily nudge the system to clean the air and let it flow through the funnel. Does not leak at the connection. The only tricky part was removing the reservoir when I was done and there was no liquid leak left at the top of…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Thin

It was a worthwhile investment *Note:* Note to new buyers: If you're having trouble installing it in your cooling system like I did on a 2006 Kia Spectra5, go for it Time Take a close look at how the adapter fits the radiator or filler hole. The radiator I was looking at has a small lip just below the opening which means the round insert doesn't go in far enough to secure with a collar. I took a fairly sharp knife and made small, conservative cuts on one side of the end of the adapter to give…

  • Satisfied so far

Was unsealed for my 2000 Ford Ranger 3.0L V6

I wanted to use this after replacing the radiator on my 2000 Ford Ranger with a 3.0L V6 as the upper radiator hose goes over the radiator plug and runs out Why is it necessary to bleed the cooling system? For some reason none of the adapters fit tight enough to create a proper seal. The green cap is too loose and the blue cap is too tight. The green plastic liner was too wide to fit in the radiator neck and while the blue plastic liner did fit in the radiator neck, it was too short to fit…

It worked GREAT! The radiator gasket is slightly leaking.

Love it! I have a 2002 Subaru WRX. It is usually very difficult to bleed the cooling system on these cars as there is no radiator cap and the cap is only on the reservoir. I sealed the cap for my type of radiator cap and attached the funnel. I was able to start the car by topping up the coolant. This allowed the air to escape, the liquid flowed into the massive funnel and caused minimal spillage. The seal isn't perfect so it does leak a little with use, but for me at least it's a lot better…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

I recently flushed my FJ Cruiser with coolant and burping/filling the radiator I probably managed to lose 1/4-1/2 gallons of coolant. At $30 a gallon for the Toyota SLLC, those losses range from $7.50 to $15. Having to do the same for our 4Runner, I decided to buy this funnel to see how well it works. I've seen this design before in a YouTube video and it intrigued me. Not only did this prevent spills, but it also kept it clean if you ever need to check for a leak. I was sold as soon as I saw…

Pros
  • Nicely packaged
Cons
  • Lightly dented

Great funnel for the price

If you have a car that is having problems with cooling system burping, click Buy Now. We have a 2006 Subaru Outback LL Bean with a flat six engine. They're notoriously hard to burp when changing coolant and thermostat. Reading the forums, they recommended one of them. We flushed and refilled coolant and water. Tip: put the front of the car on the ramps if you have them. Folding up the car helps. The advantage of a funnel is that not only is the content easier to pour out, but the water surface…

Pros
  • High marks for tester support and durability
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

I worked according to the instructions.

This funnel kit did what it was supposed to. A large funnel attached to the radiator filler neck forms a reservoir into which the coolant expands when the cooling system is bled. The last time I bled my cooling system without a funnel attached, antifreeze flowed everywhere. I also threw away some antifreeze with this system, but not as much as before. It was also a learning experience and I think I can do even better next time. I would fill the radiator almost to the brim with a regular funnel…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

Worked fine on a 2002 Toyota Corolla CE

I wanted to do a coolant flush on my 2002 Toyota Corolla CE because I noticed a different brand of coolant in the radiator. After doing some research for my first coolant flush, I realized that this type of leakproof funnel would really make the job easier. Thanks to various attachments, this product lasts for many years with different vehicles. The blue tips match my Corolla 02. If you have the same or a similar car you might find this useful: concentrate, not pink 50/50). A gallon jar was $35

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • I won't say anything

It's not just a funnel; This is a multi-talented funnel set!

The review will be short because it's not that complicated. This was my first coolant change on my 2013 Honda Accord and it went well. Everything went smoothly like the people in the YouTube video did, but for some reason only 1 gallon of coolant came out (normally it would be about 1.6 gallons for my car) so I filled back about the same amount (because it everything will take time). Most cars require more than 1 gallon, so buying two gallons of coolant will probably be enough for a coolant…
