I recently flushed my FJ Cruiser with coolant and burping/filling the radiator I probably managed to lose 1/4-1/2 gallons of coolant. At $30 a gallon for the Toyota SLLC, those losses range from $7.50 to $15. Having to do the same for our 4Runner, I decided to buy this funnel to see how well it works. I've seen this design before in a YouTube video and it intrigued me. Not only did this prevent spills, but it also kept it clean if you ever need to check for a leak. I was sold as soon as I saw this. The attached video shows the process of burping the cooling system in my 4Runner with this funnel. Not only was it efficient and fast, it was also clean. I think I managed to drain 5 drops of coolant when relocating the funnel from the radiator to the expansion tank and that was probably just what was on the outside of the funnel mouth. I recommend this piece for your next coolant flush. It is absolutely worth the money and everything seems to be top notch. It might not be anything of a snap-on truck, but it will last if you take care of it.
