Description of Lisle 19802 Threaded Oil/Transmission Funnel: Hassle-Free Pouring and Precision Funneling

Hands-free filling on threaded valve cover openings. Two-piece design can be used separately or threaded together for a long super funnel. The larger section screws into threaded oil filler openings, found on many Ford pickups and Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler cars, mini vans and SUVs. This holds the funnel upright for quick, mess free oil fills; Also works on some Honda, Acura and Nissan vehicles. The diameter of the smaller funnel is narrow enough to fit even the smallest applications including transmission filler holes.

Great deal on oil system tools

I don't write reviews, almost never. But if you look at all the funnels on Revain and how many there were, that was a lot! would screw into my oil filler hole and I was fine with that. But it happened.

Pros
  • nice packaging
Cons
  • boring packaging

Convenient funnel for car service.

Being able to screw the funnel into the oil filler neck of my cars is very handy. It does not pour or drip onto the engine. If it had a molded vent it would be quicker to fill gears (slower to fill) through the dipstick.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Volume

something you gain something you lose

works well but after so many uses it starts to bend and then the threaded part breaks off the top of the funnel. Passed 3 times and the same every time with intensive use. but they are cheap enough to make up for the inconvenience

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • cable is shorter than others

Where have you been all my life?

I can't believe I've been without this product for so long! It screws right into the valve cover of my Chrysler mini-van so I don't have to juggle filling those big 5 liter jugs during an oil change. Very happy with this pickup, it's now a regular part of my oil change mechanism.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Protection

Great Funnel: Funnel

This is my second first encountered in 6 years. It's a 2 piece pore funnel, it's made very thick, it won't support the weight of the car, but it works great. It's long so I'm used to filling the gear because it could only be filled through the sight hole which is about 3/8 round. Recommended for most applications

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Better than expected

I actually bought this and another to screw into the oil filler neck or valve cover of my Ford F-350 6.0L truck. The other didn't fit, but this one unexpectedly screwed into the oil filler neck for hands-free use. The smaller section fits my gear fill so this funnel can do everything and more than I need.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Hard to say

Good funnel. Low price. The same as Matko.

1/3 the price of the same hopper on a Matco truck. The information is somewhat misleading. This fits many Chrysler applications with the exception of the newer 3.6L. It fits older 3.8, 5.7, Cummins and 2.4 engines. Basically everything with a normal thread pitch. If it has a weird double-headed bolt like GM's, it won't screw in, but it can be held in place. This is my way to the funnel. Less expensive than Assenmacher funnels and more versatile in price. Threads wear out over time (several…

  • Some cons

I bought three of these because they look really nice and I love the idea of screwing a funnel into your truck's oil filler cap. They are made by Lisle. I had very high expectations when they arrived. I was a bit disappointed with the finishing of the funnels, the top edge is very rough, it's just not the smooth beautiful funnel I expected from Lisle and one of them seems to have a crack that I want to return. All in all if you want a steep funnel that screws into the oil filler neck then this…

This is a funnel. Best in Tools and Equipment

I have only used this funnel for oil but it does everything a funnel is supposed to do. Yes, there are some applications where this funnel will not fit in the filler hole, but guess what? It's still a funnel and it will still do what it's supposed to do. I personally use this product 5-10 times a day at work and prefer it over standard funnels as the outlet is much larger than regular funnels which means more liquid. can get where it needs to be in less time. Yes, it's plastic and if you try to

  • delivery was very quick
