I like the coat a lot. It's heavy enough to ride in cold weather, but you'll need to wear a windbreaker underneath or the airflow will get a bit chilly. But in warmer weather, when you're dressing for skiing rather than skiing, you'll find that a breathable leather jacket is really good. The r=back ventilation zips under the arms are a nice touch if you want to restrict airflow. I don't like the small handle on the front zipper, they could make it bigger. It's really small like I said in the title. If you are of average height, you'd better buy big ones and so on. Looks great, the leather is not stiff at all but very comfortable and supple. This is a heavyweight jacket with a removable liner to protect you in the event of a fall. I will say that I did not like the protection of the shoulders in the elbows. They are removable, I took them off. Too hard. The shoulder pads are ok but my elbow is still not comfortable. You won't be disappointed, it may seem a bit pricey but I believe it will last for years to come.
