The Best Option for a Dire Situation - A Big Safety Warning However!

Much better than the classic vet issued e-collar. Now he looks at me with more contempt than fear. Its level of comfort has improved significantly. He can eat and drink easily and it doesn't cause mustache stress. He returned to research and travel. Two downsides: - A small note, cats are naturally flexible liquid. This cone allows him to grab with his back and hind legs, so it depends on the location of the injury. We designed it so that it doesn't touch an eye infection and for that it just works. - BIG warning, the loop to tighten/loosen poses a serious choking hazard. I told myself I was being paranoid, other reviews didn't comment. But don't you know, after less than 2 hours of wearing, he hooked his paw into the loop (I put it in, obviously not good enough) and tightened it. Solutions: Cut the loop and just add stop knots. on each side of the elastic. Or wrap it around a plastic eyelet. Not a big deal, easy to fix, but wish it was mentioned in the product listing or built some sort of safety mechanism into the collar (a sleeve for an elastic band? A button to wrap around?).
