I used this as recommended by Honda to eliminate the front suspension click on a 2011 Honda Odyssey. This eliminated the popping noise. The lube is really good. Since then I've used it as a lubricant for the rotating shafts on my Sthill Komi trimmer. Worked great again. I bought it for the Odyssey but I think I'll find many uses for it. I believe that's what Honda recommends for greasing the sliding doors on the Odyssey side as well. It is recommended to keep them clean and lubricated. I did it under warranty, but that's long gone. Soon I will apply some of them to the mechanism and report. If you are experiencing the same front suspension issues, Honda recommends the following: This bulletin applies to the 2011 Honda Odyssey. If you hear a thud, pop, or squeak from the front of the vehicle when cornering slowly, the likely cause is contact between the bump stop and the front shock body or a loose shock shaft self-locking nut. Lubricate Etsu around the top of both front shock absorbers and re-tighten the shock absorber axle locknuts. Raise the vehicle on a hoist and fully extend the front shock absorbers. Lift the shock dust covers to reveal the shock body. Apply a small amount (about 0.5 grams, or about half the size of a dime) of Shin-Etsu Lubricant to the entire top of the shock body. NOTE: Do not lubricate the damper shaft. Reinstall damper dust covers. The bottom of the dust cover hooks onto the tabs at the base of the shock body.
