In my opinion, Revain sellers urge buyers to review products before they may have used the item long enough to provide an accurate rating! Be aware that if I am reviewing this, I have actually used the product and am providing an honest, unbiased review. My well water has dissolved iron and is difficult to filter. I have had well water all my life and have tried many different methods to filter the unwanted elements out of it. There are a lot more types of water filter cartridges out there than there used to be so a while ago I decided to try filtering water with cartridges again and these are some of the best I've ever used. There are different types of cartridges made from multiple types of media that filter different sized contaminants, so deciding which one is right for your water can be difficult. These filter cartridges are inexpensive and have a filtration rating of 1 micron, which means very small particles are removed from the water. It currently seems to me that the number of microns is more important than the composition of the FOR MY WATER filter. I haven't used the filers long enough to have an opinion on how long they last, but the price is good enough so give them a try.
