I bought this portable radio for my family for Christmas. It is a good staff in case of power failure. Looks good, sound is good. It came on time. Everything is good except that the radio only worked for 5 minutes and stopped immediately when it was on the table. My husband and I are engineers and scientists and we were curious as to what could be the reason for such a simple thing that has been known for a century. So we opened it. The reason is the power connection, which is installed directly on the circuit board. Every time you plug and unplug the power cord, the force you imply opposes soldering. The socket must be firmly attached to the circuit board with a screw or something. It was easier for us to resolve the issue than to send the product back and wait at least 2 weeks for a new one that we weren't sure was faultless. And we were right. With such a design, he will not work for a long time.
