My cat is like this Although I tend to give it as junk food, only occasionally as I feed her healthier food (Weruva Cutie Patootie to be exact) than her regular food give. Because Rachel's stingray food has questionable ingredients and I don't know what those round balls in that food are but they dig in and only eat chicken. This food is not actually made by Rachel Ray, nor is it owned by Rachel Ray. It also has carregenean (note I misspelled it), but it causes cancer, so Better Cat doesn't add it. This is one of the reasons why I give my cats Weruva on a regular basis. This Rachel stingray also has other things/ingredients that are not part of a cat's normal diet as they are carnivores and do not eat vegetables, fruit and some of the unhealthy foods that they put in their food. Would you see a lion eating berries or peas in the jungle lol? Well, cats are no different. They are carnivores, like lions. So I only occasionally give them Wereuva and that Ray Rachel as junk food treats. The chicken purkata has slightly better ingredients than the other flavors they offer in this brand so this is the only one I will use but then again I only give them this food occasionally to change it up from time to time, so that they don't do it, they regularly bored themselves with health food (wereuva) every day. Unlike humans, pets don't eat the same thing every day. So it's just a meal replacement. Although they don't get tired of the same good wholesome food I usually give them. From what I've read, obviously any food they sell in the market is unhealthy food and equates to a daily meal at McDonald's. No bueno. I did some research and gave them Weruva (cutie Pattooti Chicken/Turkey) wet food which they love. A little trick is to add a little warm water to give them that extra extra hydration, and that's even better. And for the kibble, I'll just Dr. Use Elsies Pure Protein Chicken in case you're wondering, I've been doing my research and boy did it take a while to figure out what I'm going to stick with and what flavors they like. Until I thought to share because Doctor Elsie's Is Play Protein Drive Food is the only healthy dry food that is non-dehydrating and provides good protein and even some moisture in her food. What you children deserve better. A bit pricey for the size but as it's mostly protein they fill up quickly and don't eat as much as I read in their description and that's true and that's true and we'll handle their weight well too, as there is no junk in it, carbs or bulking like the cheap ones so it makes up for the price as they fill you up quickly and it's gone with the protein and because it's not full of carbs and junk like the cheap brands. After a while you will notice a difference as your furry babies will have softer fur, brighter eyes and be more active because eating good food makes them feel better and healthier. I hope this review has been helpful to anyone interested. wanted to share wealth.
