I needed to upgrade the capabilities of a smart home, so I purchased it to take the place of a smaller station. Elegant construction, high microphone sensitivity, and a wide range of capabilities are all hallmarks of the Alice. The sound quality, on the other hand, is a complete and utter letdown. Wadded and flat are two words that come to mind when describing the sound. The built-in equalizer is of no assistance in making the necessary adjustments to rectify the situation. It would appear that the sound track was produced in the most cost-effective manner possible, given the bitrate of the music that was streaming through the speaker was approximately 128 kilobytes. When playing audio books and podcasts, the sound quality of the voice does not need to be improved. If you decide to go with this station, keep in mind that it was primarily developed for the purpose of controlling smart homes and reproducing speech, and that its musical qualities are questionable at best.
