A few modifications make this tool great

I was trying to hide all my tools to get rid of the saddlebag and decided to give it a try. I installed a Shimano Deore Hollowtech II in the crank. Part of the tool seems to be working fine. I tried it on an old chain segment and combined with my large Lezyne tool bit it broke the chain easily, much easier than all the multi tools I've used and the small Park Tool chain breaker. I followed the advice of other reviews. and applied some Loctite Blue Threadlocker to the handle that screws into the tool. Also, there have been some complaints about the rubber gasket getting stuck when installing the tool. My diagnosis is that the oval shape of the tool does not apply even pressure to the rubber seal. When you tighten the bolt, the washer pulls onto the flat sides of the tool and does not provide a tight or flush fit in the crank. I fixed this by inserting an M8 washer between the rubber washer and the tool. After adding the washer you will need to apply some pressure to screw the screw in, but then it will provide a much better seal for assembly.
