Review on ROKR Wooden Mechanical Calendar Beautiful by Julius Robinson

I received this as a gift. It took some time to assemble, working 10-20 minutes a day in shifts. I definitely ran into build issues, but the helpline did a great job of resolving my issues. During assembly I managed to break 3 wooden parts and one plastic part. Wooden parts were easily fixed with Elmer's glue. The plastic part needed UV glue to attach it (it just broke in half when I put the other part on). The problem I have is that the instructions are mostly images with limited written warnings. I had one of the first pieces back to front and couldn't tell from the instructions. The online help was able to point me in the right direction. The other part (top wood brace) didn't align properly. Again the online help gave me the solution. This part required significantly more pressure to hold it in place. I was afraid that I would break a part. Also, one of the ratchets pushed back and broke off the pins. Some parts were difficult to tell if they were installed upside down. Otherwise it looks good and still works perfectly.
