Review on Portable acoustics JBL Charge 4, 30 W, red by Ada Bronowicka ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very high quality product, it's not the first time I bought it.

After watching video reviews posted on the Internet, the list of expectations in my head was already compiled and it was surprising NOT to find the options declared there (of course, it’s my own fault and, as they say, your expectations are your problems): - a slot for a microSD flash drive; - switching tracks with the "plus" and "minus" buttons (they only adjust the volume); - built-in microphone for hands-free calls; - accept/reject call functions; - Included wires for AUX. It turned out that all these additional options are inherent in the Chinese JBL Charge 4. For the first time in my life, I was upset because I received the original, and not the Chinese fake))) If you decide to find differences, then: 1) external ones include: - packaging method (the box itself): the Chinese one is packed in a single-color orange box, there is a paper case with pictures on the outside, the original is packed in a nice box with a magnetic lid; - body mesh material: the Chinese has a fine metal mesh, the original is covered with a fabric mesh; - type of subwoofer: Chinese engraving on a metal plate | on the original engraving on a rubberized slip; 2) to technical specifications: - Bluetooth version: Chinese 2.1, original 4.2; - battery capacity: Chinese 4500 mAh, original 7500 mAh; - claimed battery life: Chinese 10 hours, original 20 hours (I have not yet been able to test it in practice, because I only got it today). Of course, you choose. I just wanted to share the unexpected big differences in the options set so that it doesn't come as a surprise to you as it did to me.

Pros
  • The sound is excellent, the build quality and performance of the case in terms of the declared water resistance (I did not want to experiment in practice yet), the appearance and design in general. Includes cable for USB type C. Can be used as a portable charger. AUX socket.
Cons
  • There was no wire for connecting via AUX in the kit (but it seems to be optional).
