Review on Kamik Unisex Child Stomp Rain Black Boys' Shoes: Perfect Outdoor Footwear by Michael Caste

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Amazing boots, spot on for many reasons. see review.

Used for 8 months and occasionally worn by a 7 year old boy. He has average sized feet and they fit well and maybe even snug or "perfect". Not everything dangles like a big boot. This makes him use/wear the boot more often. NO problems with hacking. We also use them as motorcycle boots as they are quite stiff and offer some protection. I did a lot of research and went through every shoe in every store in my town, Bellingham, to find them in stock. It's the best bang for the buck. Good grip, thick, protective, no cracks, branded, fit well and normal. can be worn for hours. Everyone else had problems like: too thin (easily to poke a hole), no grip (what's that? Dirt? hello!), known for cracks in bending areas or ugly or too expensive. The only other option worth considering is brown boots that look like dad's tall ones. neoprene boots. They cost around $23 and likely contain high quality rubber/neoprene. Sold in lfs. Even though they are thin. And less traction at the bottom of the shoe. I may try on a pair for my other son to see how he goes. The toe guard allows the child to hit something pretty hard without hurting the toes. Thinner boots don't offer the same level of protection. I would buy them again but would like a local store to provide them so we get the right size every time. Update: Bought two more sets of these great boots for my other kids. just love her Best value for money out there. Period.
