Let's start with the negatives, of which there are two: 1) The display, as many other reviews have pointed out, is _a little_ dim even at full brightness. This isn't a problem for me with my setup, but under certain lighting conditions I can see more screen reflections from the lights in the room (e.g. the backlight of my keyboard or even my desk when lit from above) than the display itself. This is usually only noticeable when the images on the display are very dark and the objects are well lit enough to be reflective. 2) The product comes with an HDMI cable which is insufficient to meet the rated specifications. To get full 2k 144Hz you need a DisplayPort cable. I had some issues with artifacts (vertical lines not updating) on the included HDMI cable, but switching to a $15 Displayport cable from a reputable manufacturer resolved these. The included HDMI cable doesn't look particularly cheap, it's solid, thick and heavy, just not enough to fully utilize the display's capabilities. If you have trouble right away, I recommend trying a DisplayPort cable. Picture quality and colors are excellent. It works great in gaming and watching videos with high resolution and refresh rate. Outstanding quality in its price range. I highly recommend it. It's not perfect, but it's definitely one of the best you can buy.
