After reading the reviews I bought the 800 instead of the 600. After reading the manual I was going to return it (too complicated) but decided not to try anyway. Don't be put off by the leadership and all that this outbreak can do. Just pop it on your camera and in about 5 minutes you'll be up and running with the basics, and the basics are amazing: shooting with perfect exposure and colors to match. Direct, reflected, scattered, it doesn't matter. As said, this model comes with a diffuser, which is a nice touch and a way to declutter your flash photos. Similar to "natural" makeup, this flash can make your photos look more natural. After all, photography is easy, so don't really cheat - you're just using all the tools at your disposal.
