I bought this hoping it would be warm. It exceeds my expectations. It's fleece and soft both inside and out. I wore it with a tank top and no coat the other day and spent an hour at a construction site in 40 degree weather. I was completely warm (except for my nose and hands). I will be replacing a few other fleece tops with this one as they have now lost my popularity because this one is so much better. I bought a large because I like to layer on very cold days but I think I could go for a medium and it would be fine. However, I will still order a large simply because I like my layers.
