This glass looks great. But I should have listened to reviews of the larger capacity version of this mug mentioning the terrible plastic taste. Yes, the lid has a bad taste that will ruin your coffee when you drink it. It's so disappointing. The rest of the cup is almost perfect. Another selling point was the ease of cleaning. Well, for the most part yes. There are small parts in the lid that are not that easy to clean - silicon parts inside that work with the trigger. I have no idea if mold is growing because those little bits of silicone are black. I hope to avoid mold growth by washing thoroughly. Or maybe I don't drink from the lid at all because of the bad taste.
