HDMI encoding doesn't really care about cable quality, as long as your device is receiving a signal you won't lose picture quality. So unlike our old coax cables, we don't have to worry about whether the wires are "gold plated" or any of the other gimmicks that companies like Monster are trying to sell you to entice you into buying their more expensive products. If your wires don't move much, the cable is unlikely to break. I use this to connect my wall mounted TV to my computer. Although the TV is on a 3-axis mount and is moved daily, I haven't had any issues in the past 3 months. Excellent quality and I would recommend this product to anyone.
