I must say that I am highly qualified to rate this product. I received it just over 2 weeks ago and have used it every day with a few exceptions. I first bought this lifting stand because I have multiple herniated discs running down my spine. The most important are the two at the base of my neck. I can only work on the computer for a few hours a day because it is painful to work longer. When I sit in a chair, I have to bend my neck to look at the computer. I almost have to touch my chin to my chest to see. Every time my neck bends from a perfect straight line, I suffer. I was told that raising my computer screen to eye level would dramatically reduce my pain. I tried this first with two big tutorials but found it too unstable and my computer could fall off the table. look around; I choose this one to try. I have to say that not only has the severity of neck pain decreased, but the amount of time I can spend at the computer has increased dramatically. What I like about its stand is that it is very well made and sturdy. No inferior materials are used in the manufacture. Not only does my computer stand stable on this stand, but I can also put my computer on a fan and it won't slide off. It has two sizes of jobs. You can either stretch your legs fully, or when I work in my chair, I have my legs fully bent and it sits perfectly in my lap. I know it wasn't made for this purpose and might not work for everyone, but it works for me. I take great care of my furniture. I don't want anything to slip and scratch the finish. This stand features high quality anti-slip pads that not only prevent the stand from moving but also protect my furniture from the weight of the computer resting on it for long periods of time. Although I didn't notice it initially when I bought it, there are two small retractable cords that pop out from the bottom. You can hold a CD or a USB stick. On the other side there is a drawer that can be pushed out and folded. It's great for storing reference documents that you need while you work. If you're looking to buy something like this, I would recommend this stand for its quality build and innovative features.
