Massage Therapist Recommended

I'm a massage therapist and this is one of the few massage products I'm happy to recommend! The model I chose works with bladders that inflate to fit your arm rhythmically (similar to a blood pressure cuff). Several times it seemed to me that someone pinched my hand between theirs and exerted strong pressure. The feeling is pleasant. Sometimes the pressure was a little strong, but it always eased before it got too much. I was finishing physical therapy for my arm (boxing sprain) when this device arrived. It helped ease the pain from the injury a bit and now that I'm healed it's just a good way to relax my hands after a hard day. I should note that this is NOT recommended for people with arthritis but to be completely honest I have mild osteoarthritis in the area where I injured myself and the machine has not made it worse. However, if you have more severe arthritis, especially with swollen joints, the pressure will be too high even at the lowest level. The entire manual I received was in Chinese, so I had to use the translator app on my phone to make sure I understood everything. When you turn it on for the first time, you have to choose between male and female. The difference in pitch appears to be related to hand size. I have a medium sized hand but I prefer the male setting as it offers a wider pressure. Below that is a button to turn the heater on and off. I wish the machine warmed up a little more, but it delivers a mild warmth that's always nice. The fourth button below the power button is responsible for the intensity. One is the lowest and three is the hardest. I made the mistake of showing my eight year old daughter how the machine works and letting her try it. Then she showed her six-year-old brother. The car has an internal battery which makes it very portable so now I have to keep track of where my kids are using the car and hope they remember to wash their hands beforehand. Battery life is long enough to get at least two cycles, but less than five, so they return it for a charge themselves too. Overall, this is a great machine for those who work with their hands. I can use it when I'm reading, watching TV, or working on my computer (while working on something that only requires one hand!). I recommend it to those who have no health problems.
