To be 8W it certainly doesn't draw 8W of power from my USB. 2.4a is present but only draws 0.9a at maximum power. Drops to 0.04A at minimum brightness. The maximum output power is about 5.1 V at 0.9 A, which is just under 4 W. There are about 10 brightness settings. You can see each performance level in the photos. One is out of order. Three color settings. Warm looks good. Neutral is a nice white, a bit bluish in my opinion. The clips are good, they attach to my table like show lights. Gooseneck is true, will not fall off. Brightness, ehh, I mean it's USB powered. I wish it was brighter as I've used them on shows so that helps but not as bright as I was hoping.
