Review on 5.5-Inch Flatirons Disc Adhesive Plate Hanger for Enhanced SEO by Karla Richter

Attention buyers! My plates have been hanging on my wall for the past 5 years using the standard metal plate hangers, but I decided to try these instead as I didn't like the gold hooks you could see in the corners. Big mistake! I followed the instructions exactly and the disc seemed to be glued firmly to the plate. I even let them dry for a week before hanging them up to make sure they fully adhered. The panels have been hanging for about a month and last night I was woken up by a loud crash. When I woke up, I found the panel had come loose from the panel and was broken. I double checked the weight standard up to the plate weight point and it was within the range of what the product said it would hold. I've hung 10 other panels with these and I've re-tacked them but I think I'll have to go back to the standard wire hangers because I just don't trust them. I would not recommend this product. I've included a picture of the dinner knife plate for size reference, the disc isn't to scale because it's removed from the wall, and a picture of how I attached my other plates.
