My batteries have been charged since I bought them. It's been a few months and I haven't charged them. Mind you, I'm a semi-busy person who only plays about an hour a day, and I have a lot of systems, so it's not like I've been playing for a month straight. I found the fact that the batteries lasted so long and still work without recharging worth revising. Also worth noting is that the included charging cable is fantastic, being the same length as the original cable that Microsoft used to sell. So you can play in the room while charging. Overall I was very happy with this item and will probably purchase another one at some point in the future, great product, would highly recommend.
