Works right out of the box but wish the sound was louder, can't compare to Sony or other big brands. The quality is just ok. Most of the device is made of plastic, which raises doubts about its quality and durability. I've only had it a day and haven't beaten it yet. The cassette deck seems to work. I played one of my dad's old cassettes and it played fine (be sure to save all the old cassettes before playing so they don't get mixed up in the player). Likewise the options offered by the manufacturer, especially the Bluetooth option. All radio reception areas are weak, the reception system is poor; The tape turntable is not as smooth as other brands. The two selection sliders have arrows printed on top to indicate the selection, but the arrows are black and difficult to see. The indicator bar on the front of the radio setup is tilted slightly, not 90 degrees. I'll play with other features and see if it's worth the $. The manufacturer should consider using new technologies to replace old mechanical knobs, selectors and displays. I may have to give it back to Revane to borrow. Made in China.
