My daughter bought this for me because my hands are always cold from the cancer meds. Sometimes they get so cold they just burn up, and it takes a lot of time and effort to warm them up. In the winter, I desperately found that if I slipped each arm through the cuff of the opposite sleeve, using body heat and wrist heat to slowly warm them up and relieve pain, I could pull my arms close to my body. . What a relief! But I stretched the cuffs of all my sweaters - and finally realized I was just creating a muff. So why not buy a real clutch? But I gotta tell you, I made it even better - warmer, softer, cozier - by simply turning it inside out. Now there's a clutch! The faux fur pieces feel so soft on the fingers and seem to lock in some warmth, making my hands warm up much quicker than when I originally used them. Of course it's not that pretty, but I didn't buy it for the looks, but for the functionality. I still have plans to make a decorative sleeve for my regular Jane muff, but haven't gotten that far yet. Anyway, my hands finally thawed while living in my inside-out muff. So if like me you need warm hands, turn this baby inside out and start purring!
