This shade does exactly what I want it to do, which is it blocks a ton of heat without having to worry about the aftermarket. On older cars with large windows, I don't like the look of heavily tinted windows, but large windows tend to let in so much heat that you're baking in the sun. This umbrella blocks 80% of the sun's heat while still looking like a factory. The jury wasn't sure if it worked or not until I got stuck in traffic in the desert. The sun shone straight in my face through the window and barely got warm, but as soon as I rolled the window down I felt the full force of what was blocking the tint. It was at least 70% less heat. For that I call it a complete success. 1 10ft roll is technically enough for a truck (3 windows)
