My daughter is 6.5 years old. I wanted her pants to grow with her so a pair would (hopefully) last 2 seasons. After reading about rain pants I decided to order 7. It is great! Not too big, but big enough for her to grow. She's literally been sitting in a muddy puddle playing with Gi-Joes for the past hour and hasn't complained so far. We live in Georgia and it really transforms into the Pacific Northwest every winter here. Much cloudy and rain. I buy all my kids a raincoat so they can play outside in winter. I still love these pants!
