There was absolutely no information available when I chose this glass oil diffuser/cool mist humidifier. I didn’t know if it was four inches tall or fourteen or even what features it had. When it arrived, I was stunned. It stands ten inches high on the base and is five inches across at its widest part which is bigger than I expected. The lamp itself is glass with a swirled marble design. It’s pretty just sitting there. Remove the glass shade and inside are two pieces which are plastic—the misting tube and the water reservoir. The reservoir is not very big and holds less than a cup of water.When you plug it in and see the full effect of the lamp, I think you’ll be as pleased as I was. Buttons on the base allow you to set it to cycle through different colors automatically or you can chose one of seven colors and it will remain that color. I like the cycle setting myself. The mist also has different settings such as continuous mist, mist goes off every ten seconds or one hour or two hour timers. I didn’t add any essential oils as I’m not a fan of them and I set misting to "continuous”. The mist is not heavy, but more a thin stream that you can direct slightly by rotating the lamp. This will not humidify a very dry room to the point you notice the difference quickly like a full size humidifier would, but it does add some moisture to the air. The slow color changes of the lamp are soothing to watch so I could see using it more for the lamp than the misting ability. Definitely recommend!
