Review on Rain Design 10037 Vertical Patented by Steven Darkshnar

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's as perfect as many say it is

The design is a testament to such care and I just mean the GLOSSY BOX with handle, rain products ship and pack their goods perfectly. I was mStand anyway now mTower. It is smooth. he is weighty All edges are smoothly finished, like a product from a bygone era that didn't break after the warranty expired. There are rubber inserts that stick like crazy to certain spots in this stand (no second chance to put them) so laptops of different thicknesses fit snugly. And I mean really tight when I say comfortable. Difficult to get the laptop in if you even put a Lucky Skins faux carbon sticker on it like I did. I really have to pull to get my laptop out. I have an older model Macbook Pro a1286. The only small downside is that the surface scratches easily. Simply inserting and removing the Glyph Disc from the mStand left a scar. Other than that, I only want an iMac, so I have a reason to buy Reina's beautiful iGo desk. That's nice! PS Pulling out an 8 lb laptop to turn it on is more of a hassle than I would like, so I figured out THERE IS A WAY to turn this laptop on without opening it. If you happen to turn on your Mac at the same time every day, here's what you can do. Nobody seems to mention it. In the Sys Prefs go to Energy Saver and then to Schedule. Don't do anything except set a time for WAKE. Set this time earlier than you would normally want your laptop to turn on. Turn off the laptop completely (doesn't go to sleep or stop, just turns off). Plug in the power cord and of course make sure the power cord is plugged into the mains. Here is the controlling factor. Make your AC source a power control center device like the Tripp Lite MT-6PLUS Surge Protector under your isobar monitor with real insurance against surges destroying your hardware. Connect your Mac and any peripherals you want to use with it to Power Center. Once you've turned off your Mac, turn off your Power Center. The Mac won't turn on at the set alarm time because it has no power BUT as soon as you turn on your Power Center it turns on. Voilá Mac laptop that turns on with no processing required.
