Review on National Tree Company 5 ft Hickory Cedar Slim Pre-lit Christmas Tree with White Lights and Stand by Fred Meeks

I bought it based on the positive reviews but I regret it. I was hoping for a classic rustic style tree that could be cornered and cared for year round, but this was a disappointment in many ways. First, it took a long time for me to receive it. So don't expect to see it anytime soon. It looks like it was designed by someone who had never seen a real evergreen and then started cutting corners to make it as cheap as possible. The branches are made of inferior materials. There are 3 sections that are lighted but each has a few feet of wire on the ends so there will be more wire coiled inside the tree at the end to connect it together. Some bulbs didn't work right away which is a bad sign as tree lights are notoriously failure prone and if they don't work right away don't expect them to last long. After all, the stand is just an ugly flat sheet of metal and the wood underneath is very rare. In fact, one would have to buy a planter to plant the base for it to look acceptable. Back to Revane for the lights.
