I don't understand why these cables/extensions get good reviews. If I hadn't torn the box when I opened it I would have sent it back. The white "lid" is an odd rubbery texture that doesn't flex at all, just flexes. The actual cable in the sheath is about half that wide, so doesn't fill it out enough that the sheath doesn't easily flex. and diffraction. It is not braided as shown in the photos, I guess I should have looked closely as I don't think they are described as braided. I ended up not using them in my PC build as this is a high end machine with a certain aesthetic and those cables would ruin it. If they're not seen, I'm sure they're fine and doing their job. , but they're made to be seen, and since they can't wrap smoothly around a curve and can only make sharp corners, I don't really see any use for them. Also, the black heat shrink tube covers most of the colored part. that if you put it back from the motherboard through the hole on the back of the unit, you still barely see the color! I would not buy this product.
