Product: Adjustable Straight Arm Joints I ordered these to slightly increase the length of the mount on my helmet to position my camera right in front of it Chin, so for that purpose they functioned like you would expect any mount to. Something I didn't think about when ordering is that they don't come with thumbscrews and I just accepted them - luckily I had spares but if you order them make sure you have enough thumbscrews. to use them. Looking back at the product listing, it appears misleading in a number of ways. The description of my order seems to be wrong as it says "Adjustable 3-Way Pivot Arm Extension Mount + Same Direction Direct Connections Mount + 2 Thumb Grips". The product is definitely not a mount (I wasn't expecting it) and doesn't come with thumbscrews so the description seems to be for a different item. Many pictures show thumbscrews/fixings (which is what one would expect if you based your purchase solely on the description) so I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for the misleading pictures/description.
