Ideal for connecting a drawing monitor to a laptop

We got this for our daughter when she upgraded to a new MacBook Pro with USB-C ports. It uses a graphical character monitor that uses USB and VGA to connect to a laptop. This adapter worked great as they both plugged into the same adapter and only used one USB-C on the MacBook. highlighted.
