My daughter prefers 'free'. She's 10 and we just upgraded her to a buckle. Even within the narrowest framework, it is free. She is very small and long-boned. Her 8-year-old cousin couldn't wear the jumpsuit and it ended up going to his 6-year-old nephew. She loves the Frozen theme and with a ton of points, she read half of the story in day one. The rest of the app doesn't have many changes compared to Jr and Jr2. She likes colors, not just a black and white display. There are more things to earn and more step-by-step slides to choose from. The rewards are more interesting. The timers are the same except the new version has more color. It dispenses with the interactive app and only uses the clock functions. She misses her old watch strap. She doesn't like the buckle. All in all, the Frozen Watch Garmin Jr.2 is a big win! 4 month update: She still loves the watch and watch strap. She has gotten used to the extra space of the buckle strap and has grown enough to unbuckle it. Of course, that's why we bought it in the first place! She loves that she can enjoy the frozen theme, but since it's a beautiful color and engraving rather than a painted image, it looks like she's wearing an older watch. You have to be pretty close to see the engraved images. Still very happy with the watch!
