Ethylene oxide, a chemical reaction results in sorbitan monolaurate, also known as polysorbate (specifically Polysorbate 20 Tween 20 or solubilizer). Polysorbate 20 is a gentle, oily, liquid cosmetic additive that acts as a nonionic surfactant and wetting agent to improve the flow of liquids. As a solubilizer, it helps both essential and fragrance oils bind to various types of cosmetic bases, including liquid, cream, and gel bases, thereby preventing oils and bases from separating. As a dispersing agent, it also helps disperse oils in the water, preventing them from clumping or settling. So it starts out all natural, but after it's treated with ethylene oxide, it's not as strong. Some companies may use coconut oil instead. or alcohol. It's typically used as a mild cleanser and I've had no problems with it in these. Well, the wipes themselves. nice mental boost! 🤗 individually wrapped 🤗 probiotic 🤗 dries a bit slower but I never notice any lingering stickiness. My favorite towels. Keep them everywhere!
