To be honest I didn't expect the disk tip to annoy me as much as it turned out to be. I mean it is there. I knew about it, but I still wanted to try it, so. Anyway, I'm happy to report that it works with my Samsung Galaxy A7 tablet. No batteries, nothing to set up. I tried another pen (battery operated, no disc tip) and not sure if I just had two failed attempts in a row or if it ended up on the wrong list, but I'm glad this guy has a backup. If you want to draw flat with a tablet on the table, the top of the disk will bother you. If you elevate your tablet and use it more vertically, you're probably better off. You just can't make those tighter angles without a little more effort, and the disc takes time to register before being pressed down. However, it registers well, instantly and without fuss. The top of the disc is transparent so you can see through it.
