The origami style has a beautiful modern look. White porcelain looks fresh but not fragile. Very happy

Cute but smaller than I expected and way overpriced. All parts were intact and packed in a nice Japanese style gift box (although not strong enough for long-term storage). But the set is really unique and I bought it as a gift for someone with connections to Japan.

The Christmas set is really beautiful, the design is very original and well finished. But my kit, like some of the other reviewers, arrived with broken parts. The angle arm was broken into three pieces with the tube disconnected. If it arrived intact I would happily give it five stars the way it is, I'm trying to decide whether to return it or try to glue it back.

As collectors of Christmas, we are looking for unusual expressions of the birth of Jesus to complete our collection. I tried to get this porcelain origami last year (Christmas 2013) and it sold out (NPR and PBS failed. Pretty and delicate in appearance but seems very fragile. We'll probably just display it in our home and do not use ). For this reason this is for Christmas exhibitions in churches. I love the look and the delicacy.

The most artistic and exquisite nativity scene. It stood beautifully on my desk at Christmas and looked reverent. The star wand is bent and I can't straighten it and the angel horn was glued crappy to the head/hand area and I haven't figured out how to reattach it yet. Baby Jesus doesn't sit very well in his cradle either. Nice set but perhaps better materials and workmanship could have been used for the asking price.
