Review on 🚗 Metra 95-7417 Double DIN Installation Kit: Perfect Fit for 1993-2004 Nissan/Infiniti Vehicles by Eric Pavelko

This item broke when I opened the plastic bag it came in. Unfortunately, no one does this, so you have no other options. I used Gorilla Glue to fix it which was less of a hassle than the return process. The bracket parts are made of plastic, the frame is made of thin, twisted plastic. Very cheap stuff. I had to file in several places to keep everything smooth. There was extra plastic and bumps, like building a model airplane or something. It didn't even sit flush with the stereo, so if you press on the trim it goes in about 1/4-1/2 inch. Thankfully, once you've assembled everything and placed the overlay on the console, you don't see any imperfections, so it looks like it's not there at all, just black around the stereo. That was on a JVC KW-NT3HDT in a 2003 Nissan Xterra.
